TYLOGIC® monitors the tyre pressure and temperature in real time and warns the driver and the fleet management immediately when deviations or problems arise. This enables you to intervene in time and avoid unnecessary costs.

MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY BY REDUCING EFFORT AND REGULAR RUNNING COSTS

Tyre breakdowns and the resulting, unforeseen downtimes cause considerable running costs. The TYLOGIC® system reliably detects gradual or abrupt loss of pressure, possible mechanical damages to axles/brakes of the truck or the imminent end of the regular maximum tyre mileage.

TYLOGIC® also prevents inflation pressure deviations of more than 10 % below the recommended pressure. Studies conducted by new tyre manufacturers show that more than 85 % of the tyre failures are due to gradual pressure loss and the resulting increase in temperature.

Tyre failures represent the most frequent cause of breakdowns and cause high vehicle repair costs as well as average costs of € 1,000 for a breakdown service. Incorrect tyre pressure also leads to an uneven wear pattern and considerably affects the mileage of the truck tyres.
All this can not only be prevented by TYLOGIC® TPMS but the mileage can also be increased reliably and individually by automatic tyre pressure and tyre temperature monitoring. Low investment expenses with an optimum cost-benefit effect.

MAXIMUM ROAD SAFETY

The dynamic behaviour of a tyre (e.g. braking distance and lateral stability) is closely related to the set inflation pressure. Under-inflation can lead to reduced vehicle stability in situations critical to safety (e.g. fast steering response, driving through bends, braking in bends) which increases the risk of accident. An extreme inflation pressure deviation can lead to thermal and mechanical overloading and subsequent, sudden destruction of the tyre itself. The use of TPMS can prevent tyre pressure deviations and therefore has a safety advantage thanks to maintaining the vehicle stability.

ADVANTAGES FOR THE BRAKING SAFETY

The TYLOGIC® system also detects possible mechanical distortions on the vehicle axle (bearings, brake) in good time.

REDUCED FUEL CONSUMPTION AND CO2 EMISSION

Incorrect tyre pressure not only affects the driver’s safety but also the fuel consumption of the truck and the resulting emissions. With the TYLOGIC® system, all users have the possibility to find out, at an early stage, whether their tyres are under-inflated. Almost two thirds of all commercial vehicles have an average 12-per cent (approx. 1 bar) deviation from the nominal tyre pressure. The TYLOGIC® early warning system offers users the opportunity to adapt the inflation pressure in good time and thus reduce the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions by a low rolling resistance (RR).

USER-FRIENDLY SOFTWARE FOR FLEET MANAGER AND DRIVER

The web-based TYLOGIC® system focuses on the transparent and safe handling of tyre data and makes these available to the fleet manager and, if required, the driver at all times:

 

  • Vehicles with incorrectly inflated tyres
  • Reliable determination of the mileage and warning for on-time maintenance
  • Statistical evaluation of the actual performance of tyres according to type

 

The fleet management is therefore in the picture at all times and receives all fleet status information from TYLOGIC®. The data on maintenance tracking and tyre failure status, for example, are collected at regular intervals by the GSM network.

The TYLOGIC® TPM system is a brand-neutral system. It is therefore independent with regard to tyre type, size, position, use and vehicle model. We offer a flexible, reliable system solution “Developed in AUSTRIA”.

If users come across a tyre, the performance of which is below average, they can trace its performance history even if the tyre was fitted to several vehicles in different positions. The TYLOGIC® system therefore enables you to specifically identify possible causes for improper use and thus forms the basis for effective service planning.

THIS IS HOW THE

TYLOGIC® TPMS WORKS

In the TYLOGIC® tyre pressure monitoring system, the pressure sensors are mounted on the individual wheel rims from where they measure the tyre inflation pressure and temperature. This information is sent to a database administered by the fleet manager. The TYLOGIC® system can detect an inflation pressure deviation in any combination and also whether only one tyre or all six tyres simultaneously are affected.

It uses a radio frequency (RF) signal for this to send data to an electronic control unit (ECU). The driver immediately receives an SMS when the pressure drops below a specific inflation pressure threshold.

The TYLOGIC® TPMS can display tyre information in real time, anytime, anywhere, during travel or while parked.

An alarm is triggered immediately if the tyre pressure drops or the tyre temperature deviates from the set values. The alarm is sent automatically by SMS or e-mail to a pre-defined group of persons. All collected tyre data can be made accessible to the fleet manager and, on request, also the driver at any time for analysis purposes.
